Back to William B. Miller Family Page
Below on the left is a photo of a young (about 20?) Robert Benjamin Miller.  As you can see he is well-dressed in the fashion of his day and very handsome.  It is no secret that Miller men are good looking men. On the right is the uncolorized version of Elizabeth "Besse" Ewing Miller.  She is probably in her early to middle 30s as she dies at age 38. People have asked, "what is that thing sticking up behind her head".  I think it is a decorative comb, very fashionable in those days.

The photo of Besse on the left is colorized and it was deteriorated when it was handed down to me from my parent's mementoes. At first I thought the pictures were a "matched set".  But, I think the photo of Robert "Bert" Miller was taken some years later as he looks older and the photo was in pretty good shape.  The background also has a different texture than hers.  He may be in his 40's or early 50s.
